New edition of a classic. This brings back a little of the glamour of the toy world of the years before and after 1900.
In terms of type, this was one of the first tin toys ever produced. Long before the time of mechanical wind-up mechanisms, toy manufacturers worked with the flywheel drive. The spinning top is taken in the hand and brought into motion over a smooth surface by means of the hard rubber ball at the foot.
